Qualifications:

Demonstrated work experience, education and training in policy and organizational review and development or equivalent.
Familiar with non-governmental organizations (preferably community social service organizations).
Familiar with the pivotal role of policies and procedures in organizations.
Strong research skills.
Strong writing skills that transfer well to the clarity required in policies and procedures.
skilled document preparation and layout; computer proficiency, including Word, Excel and a booking system
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Strong organization and problem solving skills; keen attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skills: excellent interpersonal and collaborative ability
Ability to work under pressure of deadlines
Ability to work with integrity and respect in a diverse, multi-cultural community centre
Some post-secondary education in a program that relates to this position.
