Job Responsibilities : Senior Technical Trainer-Casual

Salary : 16 per hour

Responsibilities:

Act as a Canadian Armed Forces subject matter expert in the capture of key requirements aligned to LMC business development activities
Support Training Needs Analysis, Concept of Operations, Concept of Training capture activities
Act as a Naval advisor during the analysis, design and development of training methodologies and strategies to support program requirements
Work remotely; have a high degree of initiative and autonomy
Be flexible to changing customer priorities which may require semi-regular work beyond core hours and/or overtime

Recent experience or demonstrated capacity to instruct in a classroom environment
Detailed knowledge of trainers and CMS 330
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Project
Strong analytical and communication skills; Able to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical members of the engineering/management staff and personnel assigned to related work
Able to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment
Experience with Voice Comms and Naval tactics
Previous Royal Canadian Navy service in an Operator Occupation. Recent experience or demonstrated capacity to perform and/or coordinate Ops Room procedures, and performing any one of the Warfare Commander roles (e.g., AWWC, UWWC, TacAIR, ASuWC, ORO Qualification and/or significant Fleet / Sea Training experience)
Second language skills would be considered an asset.
