Purpose of the Position:

The Product Development Manager role exists to develop new products from concept to distribution. It also exists to improve existing products to meet customers’ needs better and invigorate a current market.

The Product Development also ensures products are produced according to design, quality, and price specifications. They supervise the product development process, coordinate department objectives and schedules. Conduct market research to determine consumer needs and identify competitors. Review new product ideas, present them to management, and work with other departments to determine feasibility. Determine the cost of production.

This is a full time position, paying $85,000/year. This role can be worked 100% remotely.


  • Manage the product vision and roadmap, actively communicating the vision to all departments
  • Following Scrum best practices throughout sprint delivery
  • Work with Marketing team to deliver Release Notes on a regular basis
  • Research & Development
  • Staying up to date on latest industry trends and tools, ensuring the product is deemed cutting-edge.

  • Skill/Specialty: Product Development, Product Management, Scrum, PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Strategic Planning, Ability to problem-solve, Intentional communication.
  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Certification/License: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • Years Experience in Field/Career: 6
  • Industry: Software as a Service (SaaS) Development
  • Supervisory Role: Yes
  • Highest Level Managed: Individual/Professional Level
  • People Management Tasks: Hire employees, Mentor and advise, Assign and evaluate work, Review performance quarterly
