Job Responsibilities : Customer Service Clerk

Salary : $30.95 an hour

Location : Remote

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure all customer service duties are provided in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Using appropriate system accurately input and extract data and in a timely manner.
  • Dispatch duty driver as required.
  • Respond to all requests for service, including trouble calls and after hours call outs, vehicle and other requests for emergency assistance or service, and other requests as required and keep logs.
  • Maintain telephone directory.
  • Maintain a control sign out register for buildings, vehicles and equipment.
  • Provide general clerical support functions (e.g. type correspondence, reports, etc.) as directed.
  • Recommend and implement changes to work methods, procedures and equipment to improve cost, quality, time effectiveness and customer service.
  • Visibly demonstrate Serco Values and work practices while completing duties.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma in office administration, or an equivalent level of clerical or computer training.
  • Demonstrated customer service focus, including two years’ experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and public relations skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite
  • Experience and exposure to TMA or hotel software would be an asset.
