Junior Accountant Jobs for Student Urgent Hiring Work from Home Vacancy 2021

• Perform and review full-cycle accounting duties for Diagram and multiple portfolio companies (Canada and USA)
• Report accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with Diagram’s established schedule for audit and review engagements
• Review and assess current accounting practices and recommend / implement improvements to internal controls and business processes

Financial Analysis

• Review monthly financial results packages for portfolio companies and Diagram, including analysis vs budget, prior periods and forecasts for presentation
• Assist in the preparation of financial models and scenario planning
• Assist in the securing of non-dilutive financing for portfolio companies

Outsourcing Management and Administration

• Oversee the accounting functions including accounts payable, expense reconciliation and payroll and the maintenance of the general ledger
• Review quarterly GST-QST remittances; ensure compliance with sales tax requirements and reporting
• Develop procedures and policies to improve efficiency and ensure compliance
