Roles and Responsibilities:

• Testing, validation and troubleshooting of prototypes and field failures of complex electromechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills at a system and card level
• Failure Analysis and Corrective and Preventive Actions for Customer Returns
• Maintenance of technical documentation, drawings and procedures using an ECO process
• Technical report writing to document the results of testing, validation and troubleshooting activities
• Six Sigma Tools: FMEA, 8D Root Cause Analysis, etc.
• Schematic and PCB layout
• Embedded C programming of DSP and ARM processors
• FPGA programming

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated, willing to learn and attention to detail
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in Mechatronics and Control Systems is not required but considered an asset
• Registration as a P. Eng. or an Engineer In Training with APEGA
• Previous experience with the design of electronic circuits is an asset
• Familiarity with the principles on Electro-Magnetics is an asset
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
