Job Responsibilities : Junior Project Engineer

Salary : 14 per hour

Responsibilities

Responsible for Field Engineering and providing Technical Support to foremen.
Work collaboratively with SA Energy Group’s Management and Project Team to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Fly and operate fixed wing and multi-rotor UAVs.
Operate 360 Degree Camera.
Perform GPS survey work as required.
Process and analyze field data, UAV imagery, 360 Degree imagery and survey data.
Complete Grade Plans and volumetric analysis in Civil 3D.
Complete construction plans in AutoCAD.
Compile Data Streams in ArcGIS and build & manage data collection and presentation systems in ArcGIS
Lead the adaptation and implementation of new technology to improve construction information management and execution performance.
Prepare Project Engineering Documents and Work Plans.
Communicate and coordinate with SA Energy Group client’s Engineering teams on all project technical matters.
Coordination with foremen on implementation of engineering requirements.
Ensure compliance with all project technical commitments.
Liaise with internal stakeholders on project matters.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Knowledge and Experience

0-5 years of construction experience in pipeline, heavy civil, or forestry construction
A combination of experience and proficiency in the following software platforms:
- Civil 3D
- AutoCad
- ArcGIS
- GlobalMapper
- Excel
Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering is preferred.
Strong communication skills
Ability to work effectively as team member and team leader.
Proven ability to build relationships and drive results from internal and external stakeholders.
