Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan organize and evaluate the operations of the Human Resources department;

• Answer telephone calls and emails pertaining to Human Resources;
• Manipulate database information and create reports;
• Communicate job expectations to staff;
• Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each department and provide feedback;
• Attend regular meetings with departmental leaders and the Managing Director to plan and address company and programming needs;
• Oversee department heads in the approval of timesheets and time off requests;
• Set strategic long and short-term departmental goals and evaluate outcomes;

Education/Experience Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will possess or be nearing completion of a post-secondary or post-graduate program in one of the fields of Human Resources or Business; or possess equivalent work experience and knowledge;
• Candidate may be on pathway towards CHRP or CHRL certification;
• One to three years of Human Resources training preferred – experience creating and implementing strategies for an online work environment is an asset;

• Experience using Payworks or other like HRIS systems would be an asset.
