Responsibilities*

Procure all computer and related technology hardware and software for the company
Support and administer third-party applications
Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade our office networks (serverless environment)
Keep an eye out for needed updates & upgrade software and hardware with new releases and models
Ensure network security and connectivity
Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords and workstations
Resolve problems reported by end user & troubleshoot issues and outages
Define network policies and procedures & build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Specify system requirements and design solutions
Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
Develop expertise to train staff on new software and technologies

Google Workspace Administration experience
Apple and PC support experience
Proven experience in an IT Manager role, with hands on experience in networking and support
Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
Knowledge of system security and last privilege access control
Resourcefulness and customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude
Excellent communication skills
Proven work experience helping team members in house and remotely
Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
